Mission planning / Focus at infinity the only option?

Hi,

Just tried 3Dsurvey for the first time. Using a Phantom 4 Pro V2. In the camera settings, the only option for focus was "focus at infinity", so I used that. The photos are all blurry. Why is there no option to select autofocus? Should I be setting the focus in another flight app first?

In the end of reconstruction 3Dsurvey just turns off without any notification and saving. Any advice?

Hello,

I was using Agisoft, later I tried to switch to 3DSurvey, because it has good CAD Features. Unfortunately, I was not able to create a good MESH. Could anybody please help me? What Am I doing wrong? I am using default settings. Please have a look at Mesh comparison between Agisoft and 3DSurvey.

Agisoft version looks much more clean, with no NOISE and distorted edges.

I think this is because of Point cloud, I have noticed that in Agisoft the point cloud has nearly zero noise. Maybe I need to change settings in 3DSurvey while creating point cloud? I used default.

Hi Ivan,

We are just working on solving this bug. A version which solves it will be released probably at the end of April 2024. Until then, a very simple solution is to simply sect the bubble triangles using the Select button and then deleting them with the Delete button.

Hi, I've been trying to generate a 3d mesh from about 1200 photos for a few weeks now, and after a lot of trials, tribulations and adding more RAM, it got to 128gb, the program succeeded in making a model, but everything is closed like in a bubble. Attaching photos.

Hello I have a problem, in a processed file of a lidar point cloud, I have drawn several polylines, exported everything well. Today I opened that file and every time I select the CAD tab, the program does not respond, what may be happening?
I even go to the "point cloud" tab and in "other"--->cad data, I cannot delete it because when selecting it with the right button it does nothing and if I check the box of "CAD Data" the program does not respond.

Thank you, Sofie! The thing is that in some part of the country we use a local coordinate system and we convert the wgs84 coordinates to it with a official  software from the government. I just need to find a way to export the exif data, replace the coordinates with the local and reimport into 3dsurvey.
