Title: Import 3D Surface from Autocad to 3D Survey
Post by: eduardo.silva on August 23, 2021, 04:44:58 PM
Hi everyone,

I use 3d Survey to model my surface, then i export to autocad to work with points, lines etc.. Sometimes i do a excavation project, i do a simulation of a excavation in autocad and creat a new surface. Then i would like to import that new surface into 3d Survey, but the "bench" that is supposed to be straight benches, are not.

Some examples to simplify my question:

Hey Eduardo, try to export the breaklines and 3D points from Autocad survace as dx. Then load that dxf into 3Dsurvey and use Mesh / Triangulate from CAD function in menu bar. That should give you straight benches.
