If 3Dsurvey wont update or will fail to activate, expired root certificates on your PC could be the cause for the issue.

If 3Dsurvey is already activated you can try this:

OK, that should help. For future projects like this - I recommend you fly a lot higher with your drone. Here your flight altitude was around 20m. 80m usually works best. Flying at this altitude will still give you accuracy better then 4 cm (usually around 2 cm), but you will need to record fewer images to achieve same overlap.

Hey John,

What exactly is the problem? Is it that ground classification did not select the wall here in the screenshot?

To delete cad points, go to cad tab, select a point, and press delete on keyboard. To delete multiple points, select one first, then click on the small triangle an chose select similar on same layer and then delete on keyboard to delete selected points:

Hey John,

Can you send me the photos and any other data you might have for this project, so that I try processing them and see what the problem is?

You can send the images directly to me to support@3dsurvey.si

Hey Ocar,

Many different things could cause this kind of behavior.
It happend to me that the drone wouldn't start, if I placed it in grass, because a single leaf of grass would disrupt gimbal initialization. Placing a drone on flat surface would help in this case.

If the drone hovers, please try to make some flights in DJI Go 4 and see if it flies there.
Try also to fly along the waypoints in DJI go 4, and try to also perform compass calibration in DJI go 4.

If nothing else helps, you can try updating the drone firmware as well.

Unfortunately not, it only works with DJI drones.

General Discussion / Re: Import 3D Surface from Autocad to 3D Survey
« on: August 26, 2021, 02:25:12 PM »
Hey Eduardo, try to export the breaklines and 3D points from Autocad survace as dx. Then load that dxf into 3Dsurvey and use Mesh / Triangulate from CAD function in menu bar. That should give you straight benches.

Hey Oscar,

Try this, Open the kml in Google Earth, then use Save place as, and save into a new kml file. Try loading this one in 3Dsurvey Pilot and it should work.

If this doesn't help, send me the kml to support@3dsurvey.si check it out.

Hey Peter, we are working on the solution, which we plan to release in about October/November

General Discussion / Re: Question about computer hardware
« on: August 02, 2021, 02:36:51 PM »
Hey Peter,

3Dsurvey supports multi core processing. The problem is in communications - it turns out, it is faster if we use only one of your 2 CPUs, because, each of your CPUs can access hal of your RAM memory fast, and it takes long to access data from other cpu's RAM.

Because of that we only proces with one CPU if you have 2 of them.
